IEEE MBU Student Branch
Engineering futures at MBU — together with IEEE
The IEEE MBU Student Branch (STB62331) was established in 2014 under the affiliation of Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College. In 2024, it was renamed as the MBU IEEE Student Branch. The IEEE Women Affinity was established in 2019, while the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter was established in 2023.
At present, thirteen student branch chapters and one affinity group are active on campus. The student branch operates under the IEEE constitution and bylaws, under the jurisdiction of the IEEE Hyderabad Section and IEEE Ananthapuramu Subsection.
The IEEE Student Branch connects engineering students with the global IEEE network, fostering professional growth, technical skills, and leadership development. Through access to IEEE resources, members can stay updated on the latest technological advancements, publish research, and network with professionals worldwide.
